Midtjylland were so close to winning last season's Superliga but a few bad results at the end of the season cost them the 1st place and they ended up 2nd just 1 point behind Brondby.
They've been busy in the transfer market and now have a new coach and some new players and they also sold some players.
Odense were decent at the end of the season but that was only good enough for a 9th place finish, they sold some players but most of their new acquisitions come from the U19 squad.
Even in a completely new era for both sides it's clear that the home team are heavy favourites and history doesn't let me lie, Midtjylland won 11 out of their last 12 home matches against Odense and in general they were pretty strong at their stadium throughout last season with 12 wins in 16 home matches and a goal record of 33 scored and only 7 conceded.
It's the beginning of Superliga and I expect nothing but a solid start by Midtjylland especially playing at home, they know it's mandatory to get the 3 points not only to start aiming for a title win but to demand from new players a winning mentality!
