Write Up: Sock is getting in better form lately with his most recent tournament ending in a second round loss to Isner. As far as losses go this one didn’t look bad he was only broken once and forced a first set tie break he just couldn’t break Isner’s monster serve. Interestingly enough Socks most impressive win recently was when he beat Nishioka less than a month ago in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Nishioka on the other hand has been struggling lately and hasn’t made it out of the second round of a tennis tournament since May. Less importantly I enjoy picking tennis players playing in their home country and Jack Sock has that home court advantage as well as Nishioka might still be a bit tired/demoralized after a first round Olympic loss in his home country.
