Keeping the tradition of plus odds or as close as we can get bets! Let’s move forward gang! Into Ligue 1. Surprisingly I think this is a league I haven’t really messed with much! I usually touch on smaller leagues but my goal is always to bring the best value for my picks, whether its’ middle school Bulgarian air hocky, or Ligue 1 soccer!

Rank 2 powerhosue Lens vs Rank 11 Reims. On paper it looks like this would be a blowout, however, Lens is a weird 2 seeded team that lets in a lot of goals for a top three team. Lens has scored 14 times in 8 games and have conceded 10 goals. Reims has scored 10 in 8 and conceded 9. Lens has allowed more goals than any of the other top 5 teams by 2 goals. They tend to play very aggressive, but their defense has some holes in it that are very apparent despite the very good early run.

Lens has scored in 7 of their 8 games this season, while also allowed at least one goal in 6 of the 8. Reims has scored in 6 of their 8 matches while conceding a goal in 6 of them. The head to head shows a classic these teams like to fight each other matchup I’ve come to love. They have hit BTTS in 6 of their last 7 matchups, included a wild game in August of last year with a 4-4 stcore. These teams tend to tie each other a lot, and when they don’t it’s up in the air for either team to win. Reims has more motivation to win this as the worst team, because grabbing 3 points here would put the all the way up to being near the top 5, while grabbing three points is important for Lens, they are still miles behind PSG for that coveted one spot.
