Despite dominating the game against Haugesund, Rosenborg failed to bring 3 points back home. They pushed Haugesund deep into their own half but were unable to great good scoring opportunities. Ismailovic came closest as he hit the post around the 73-minute mark. That is what sums up most of RBK away games this season but they are different monsters when they are playing at Lerkendal. Scoring 32 goals in 12 home games and averaged 3 goals in every game in front of their fans since mid-July.
What a great season for Lillestrom so far. Don't you agree? A team who fighting with league top teams straight after promotion. Their great form has been slowed down lately but this is understandable, the season is long and their bench is not as strong as top teams. Great victory against Stabaek last round but I would not carry away too much. Stabaek is a team that will most likely relegate end of the season. Amazingly Lillestrom has scored the last 10 away games. That is a great achievement.
Rosenborg coach Hareide said that he is not able to promise anything but what he can do is to send out an offensive RBK team that is chasing goals. After drawing against Haugesund 3 days ago I believe we will see different Rosenborg. They are chasing top 3 finish and medals and are such a fun team to watch. I have said it before and will say it again - I do hope this group of players will stay together and bring a title back to Trondheim. I do believe Rosenborg will continue their great home form and win against tired Lillestrom side.
