The general public most likely does not know that Regensburg finished last season position 14th in Bundesliga 2. New season started and they suddenly won four league games in the row while scoring 12 goals and conceding only one. Now they sit a point behind league leaders and what is most impressive about Regensburg is their abilities to score goals, 17 goals in 6 home games is almost 3 goals every game.

Rostock currently sits 12th place at the table and doing okay. After the promotion, no one did not expect them to make much noise in a higher league. All the talks were around Dynamo Dresden but slowly we can start to see issues what these two teams have. They are not able to score as much as they concede. Two wins, two draws, and one loss from the last five games do not sound too bad and they have collected much-needed points.

My bet here is simple, Regensburg to score at least twice. What I like about them is that they do not depend only on one or two players to score. They have 13 players who have scored so far in this season and I think this is their biggest reason for being so successful. In all their six home games Regensburg has scored at least 2 goals and I think such offensive power should overwhelm Rostock here also. Rostock has a decent defense but Regensburg is expected to shine through and come out top.
