I'll keep this fairly short. Senegal, while they have been struggling to score during the group stages, are by far the superior team. They have international superstars throughout their roster like Mane, Mendy, Koulibaly, and Diallo. This scoring drought will not last during the knock-out rounds. They are hungry to win this cup after being the runner-up in 2019.

Next point, no team was able to score a goal on them in the group stages. Their defense has the fucking clamps.

Finally, and most importantly, Cape Verde has announced that their team is dealing with an outbreak of gastroenteritis (at least 8 of them as of now). For those of you who don't know what that means, they have the stomach flu. Their belly hurts.
