Back in the champions league and into Milan where Inter welcome Liverpool to the San Siro. There won’t be too much statistical analysis here because I don’t think it really needs much. The reason why this pick is great value is because anytime you can get liverpool o1.5 goals at near to 2 odds, you should take it. They’re arguably the best goal scoring team in the world and are in perfect form recently. They regularly score 2 goals in a game and I think there is serious value in o2.5 as well. Inter are as well a great attacking side and if they are to have any chance in this tie, they will have to try and get at liverpool and score a couple of goals in the first leg because if they go to the second leg with a deficit, it is highly unlikely that they advance. The reason why the line is so low is because liverpool are the away side and the bookmakers think that they will play a conservative game and trust that they can leave it all to the second leg and blow inter away at Anfield. However, I just don’t see a situation in which Klopp sets his team out negatively as their whole DNA is to press teams high and regain possession as soon as possible. Sitting back and trying to keep a clean sheet is not a style that Klopp will implement under any circumstance.
