Eredivisie 2nd team hosts Israeli league 3rd team. Dont have many numbers and statistic to share here, but everyone who knows a bit about football should know the level difference between Netherlands and Israel football leagues. For example, Netherlands is ranked 10th in FIFA world rankings and Israel is ranked 77th, it doesnt show exact difference between the clubs, but gives a little insight about the nations football culture.

Maccabi places 3rd in their home league, as they also have been really struggling with their defense, having 29 goals conceded in 22 matches (dont seem that bad for a regular league, but theres usually not too many goals scored in Israeli league) and having only 10 goals more scored than conceded. They managed to win 3 out of their 6 games and qualify to the playoffs as the lowest ranked team.

As Maccabi has trash defense and their offense as well aint on the same level as PSV's, PSV should rather have a nice walk in the park. Surprises do time to time happen in these kind of matchups, but dont really see any possibilities them to happen in this game. Maccabi might score max one goal, but PSV is too much of a stronger team and scoring 2 and winning a game vs this team is a must to them.
