[Football- Euro U21] 24.6/ 18:00 Ukraine U21- Romania U21

For this bet we need to focus on mainly Ukraine’s attack and Romania’s defence. Ukraine has a few players who are already VERY good - Mudryk, Sudakov, Bondarenko (and the goalkeeper Trubin). The U21 side consists of pretty much only of Ukrainian league players, mostly Shakhtar Donetsk youngsters, who don’t sit on the bench, but get good minutes domestically and in European football games.

Ukraine’s journey in the Euro started a few days ago when they beat Croatia U21 2-0. Important thing to note here - a lot of the really good players didn’t even play. Vanat, Mudryk sat at the bench(Ukraine’s coach Rotan: “Both players came here with injuries, they’re working separately to hopefully play next match (Against Romania)”) , whilst Sudakov got only 6 minutes of playing time. In the friendlies leading up to the Euros, they played 4 games, scoring over 1.5 goals in 3 of them (Failed to score 2 in 1-3 loss to Italy).

Romania’s team doesn’t phase me, mostly consisting of Romania’s domestic league players. Difference about the two teams is that whilst Ukrainian youngsters do actually play a lot of minutes for their club, the same can’t be said about the defensive players in Romania’s side (Andrei Borza, Bogdan Racovitan, Alex Pantea - all bench players for their clubs but starters in the Euro). They lost their opening game to Spain 3-0, having been completely dominated with 79% possession and 17 total shots for Spain.
