Goffin had some quality wins last week at Monte Carlo, beating Cilic and Zverev (two big servers). PHH is great in doubles with his partner Mahut, but that play does not fully transfer to singles. I would favor Goffin in the long rallies and the return game. His point construction and consistency works best on this surface. Herbert will try several drop shots but Goffin has speed to catch up to the ball and rely on his craftiness to win the cat and mouse game at net. Herbert lost to Tomic last week in qualifiers at Monte Carlo. That is all I gotta say.
