Odds are poor but Butler by decision is highly likely here. Butler fights very safe, often fighting on the back foot and not loading up much. He only has 15 ko’s in his career and all of them came against low par opposition. He has decent skills but little power. Perez however, constantly drives forward and throws wildly. He’s lost 4 times but has faced good opposition in his short career so far. Perez has never been stopped and like nearly every Mexican fighter, has unreal toughness. Although I’ve only watched a few of his fights, as far as I can see, he has never even been knocked down.

Overall, Butler should just look a level above here, fighting defensive and making Perez miss, with the fight going the distance and Butler taking the decision. Even if Perez does better than expected, it’s extremely unlikely he’ll get given a decision in the UK.
