Casper Ruud is playing phenomenal tennis at the moment, today he beat Rune in straight sets losing only 2 games. He has put together an amazing clay season all together as well reaching 4 semi-finals and winning in Geneva. And I will not be surprised if he reaches the finals here in Bastad.

Laaksonen on the other hand is the Cinderella story of the tournament so far, pulling off a huge upset against Musetti, and then beating Ymer on his home court in straight sets. Laaksonen has now played 9 matches in his last 9 days, and very few athletes would be able to maintain their performance with that much tennis, let alone against one of the best players on clay at the moment.
