Expecting this match to have a lot of goals, Shakhtar only finished at 2nd place last season and now with Roberto De Zerbi who was former Sassuolo's coach they have what it takes to play offensive football, the type of football that fans love to watch and we all remember how good some performances by Sassuolo were last season. They are a better team than Genk and way more experienced at the international stage.
Genk also finished 2nd place last season and they fought until the end of the season against Club Brugge, on their league matches they usually score a lot but also concede a ton of goals especially from set pieces.
On the 1st leg they did a solid 1st half creating some chances and scoring a goal but on the 2nd half they slept a bit and Shakhtar turned around the match.
