[Football- Spain 'La Liga'] 27.8/ 22:15 Valencia- Alaves
To be honest, I didn't like how Valencia opened their season, despite getting 4 points in 2 games. They won against Getafe, but it wasn't convincing nor realistic at all. They scored from a PK, and that was pretty much it from the m that game. Defensively they're okay, but not great and I expect them to step up this game in a better light than previous 2 games. Against Granada they've drawn, again scored from the PK that was very suspicious (little to no contact) and then Granada got a goal cancelled in 92nd minute.
However, despite not so great performances from Valencia, I expect them to win today at Mestalla. Why? Deportivo just looks terrible! They were relegation contenders last season (finished 16th) and this season they have continued in the same tempo, losing both of their games scoring just 1 goal, while conceding 5. They'll miss Duarte this weekend as well, due to the red card against Mallorca.
Gomez and Guedes will lead the charge for the Bats, with great support from Cheryshev. I expect this trio to be a key factor today for a win on Mestalla.
