[Boxing- UK] 4.9/ 20:00 E.Bridges- M.Gangloff
Bridges isn’t a great fighter, she’s made a name for herself by being extremely active on twitter and replying back to 40 year old men who think they stand a chance of meeting her one day. This may sound strange that I’m downplaying her seen as I’ve picked her to win, however she is being put in with low quality opposition as she brings in good viewing figures. Bridges has average boxing skills, she’s pretty slow with both her hands and footwork, but she does seem to carry a bit of power. Her last fight was just under a month ago where she won by ko against a 37 year old Bec Connolly, who has been ko’d previously and looked to lack any sort of heart in the fight.
Tonight Bridges is facing French bantamweight Gangloff, who has never been stopped in her 7 fights and will come forward all night long. Gangloff has previously fought against exciting British prospect Ellie Scotney, who has much greater attributes than Bridges and she couldn’t stop Gangloff over 6 rounds.
This fight is 8 rounds long with just 2 minutes per round. I expect Bridges to take a scrappy and ugly win on points, with Gangloff constantly pressuring but just not landing many shots and Bridges to inflict some decent blows throughout the fight, but nothing that’ll come close to causing a stoppage.
