[Boxing- USA] 20.11/ 23:00 J.Munguia- G.Rosado
Gabe, he’s too months away from 36. He did well against Jacobs because Jacobs is a boxer, Munguia wouldn’t box even if he could. His resurgence is coming after his ko of Bek (20/1 underdog), but he’s never donde well against constant pressure. Even against Bek he was overwhelmed by wide swings, and took a knee in the first round. I do think Rosado should take the Dennis Hogan approach if he wants to be succesful, outbox him from the outside, but he’s at a point in his career when where his body is deteriorating, his age and his great number of wars are the main factors that work against him. You shouldn’t expect to see a better version of him at his point. Guys like Rosado are what makes the sport feel alive, you see him all the time and you see him fight everyone but I think this is the limit. Munguia is not a great boxer, not at all, but he has enough to punish Rosado’s body and wear him down to a stoppage. I expect a battle of attrition, and so I pick the fresher boxer.
