[Football- England 'Championship'] 9.2/ 20:45 Bristol City- Reading
Both these 2 teams are on a really good run of form when it comes to the amount of goals their games have. The last 9 games for Bristol have seen over 2.5 goals and BTTS hit. During this period their matches have averaged 4.56 goals a game. Throughout this period they've scored 1.89 goals a games. They've even managed to grab a goal against promotion hopefuls QPR, whilst also grabbing 2 goals and promotion hopefuls Huddersfield and league leaders Fulham. They can clearly score goals and against this Reading defence I expect them to get 2 or 3 themselves. They've conceded 2.67 goals a game during this period as well so I expect them to also concede.
Since the turn of the year Reading have been on a woeful run of form, winless in their 6 games, managing 5 losses and a draw. These 6 games have averaged 4.5 goals a game. They're defence has not been good. They have not kept a clean sheet in 17 games and throughout this period they've conceded 20 goals, averaging 3.3 goals conceded a game. They have not conceded less than 2 goals in any of these 6 games. As such, I can see Bristol grabbing a couple as they've shown no problem scoring recently.
As previously noted, Bristol haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 9 games so I think Reading should grab a goal themselves. Reading have been able to grab goals recently as well they average 2 goals a game in this period, where they've managed to score in 3 of these 6 games. The games they failed to score in were against promotion hopefuls QPR, Luton Town and league leaders Fulham. Reading should be able to grab a goal or 2 themselves against a vulnerable Bristol City defense, that has conceded against teams around relegation spots like Hull, who have statistically the 3rd worst attack in the league and managed to score 2 against Bristol.
