[Tennis- ATP Santiago] 24.2/ 15:00 J.Munar- P.Martinez

Like Munar in this spot. Munar opened at -112 and is now at -159, money coming in on him. Long story short because it's getting late, in this clay swing so far, Munar has given some serious troubles to arguably the 2 best players on the south american tour so far (Alcaraz, Schwartzman). His only other loss against Galan he has avenged couple days ago by destroying him. Martinez on the other hand got wrecked easily the only 2 times he played a top-tier clay player (Fognini, Schwartzman). He played a tight match (tighter than the scoreboard suggest) against a literal nobody. His only notable win is against Tabilo but that one Tabilo was coming from a grueling final 2 days before, so...

Even on the eye-test, there seem to be a gap between them. Munar seems so much more comfortable on the clay, hit with way more topsin - something Martinez seem to struggle with sometimes. He tends to get backed up on heavy-spin shot, which Munar doesn't lack. Martinez likes to do a lot of dropshots, but that doesn't matter due to my next point.

Finally, Munar is a proper clay-rat. Dude is 100% on EPO, like he literally never stops running. His defense is insane like a brick-wall. His whole game is just don't hit the ball out. If you've never seen him play, you don't want too trust me. There's nothing exciting about his game, but a guy who doesn't miss is hard to beat so I'll back him. Martinez in the past has shown fitness issues, he's the retiring queen, especially when he loses the first set.

Martinez lead the H2H 2-1 but the last match was 2 years ago and all 3 matches were on challenger so I'm not worried about that.
