[MMA- KSW 68] 19.3/ 23:00 S.Parnasse- D.Rutkowski
The courses indicate that this will be the most difficult obstacle in his KSW adventure for the French. And it is not even that Saladyn will fight in front of Rutkowski's home audience. It will be much more difficult than his surprising defeat with Torres, which was largely the result of many mistakes, including disregarding the opponent combined with a nonchalant fighting style. And it was this failure that became a turning point in his career. In the next two wins, against Pejic and in the rematch against Torres, we already saw a much less glamorous Parnasse, without so many fireworks, with a more compact offensive but also defensive. This version is perhaps, for sure, less effective and worse to watch, but definitely more effective and safe for the French. In these two fights he had no problems. With Rutkowski it can be so much more difficult that a Radom with his aggressive style, pushing boxing with very good wrestling combined with an effective clinch, there is practically no other way to win than from the beginning to the end, pressure on the rival, control of the octagon and forcing the rival to fight backwards running, plus takedowns. As the French is bigger and has better conditions, such pressure will not be easy, and it will require entering half-distance where it will be difficult to avoid precise straight blows and counter attacks. My main point is that the fight scenario promises to be easier to wait for the referee's decision than to finish one of the competitors ahead of time. Rutkowski will find it difficult to dominate the French in a stand-up, and the new Parnasse will largely want to control the fight, without spectacular attempts to finish. He has already burned himself on Torres, and you can clearly see that he has learned from it. Therefore, despite the fact that it will not be an easy fight for the champion, I bet that he will defend his title today with a unanimous decision of the judges.
