[Football- England 'Premier League'] 10.4/ 17:30 Manchester City- Liverpool
In a crucial match up for the Premier League title, a dynamic and red hot Liverpool will face off away from home against the juggernaut that is Manchester City. Both teams desperately want to win this game, and neither team can afford to lose it. This is the most concrete chance either team has of taking important points away from the other, and strengthening their claim on the Premier League title.
Both teams have offenses capable of tearing teams apart, but this game should be a nervy affair simply due to the sheer stakes of the game. Everyone is aware of the star power on either side of the field, particularly offensively, so I won't spend time elaborating as to why either team is capable of scoring here.
I see this game going one of two ways, and incredibly tight and unremarkable 0-0 draw in which both teams are so desperately afraid of coming away with 0 points that neither of them aggressively pursue the win - or, a game which opens up as soon as the first goal is scored by either side, which would in turn crank the heat up for the team who has conceded, and would hopefully lead to such offensive pressure that we see both sides scoring. I am hoping, and expecting, the latter.
