FC Paços Ferreira is always a team to keep an eye on and as usual, people had high hopes for them this season since they managed to finish at 5th place on the last one. After that amazing season their coach left the club and Jorge Simão took his place, but after 10 consecutive matches without a win he ended up leaving as well due to the enormous pressure from the supporters. Cesar Peixoto was the chosen one to save this season and on his first match with Paços they finally managed to get a win, beating Tondela by 1-0. This might be a great opportunity for Paços to finally climb some positions and they know how much better they can be since 11th place is not where they belong.

The visitors sit currently at 14th place and their season has been just like FC Paços Ferreira campaign since they also had 2 coaches who left and now this 3rd one is finally getting good results. Since his arrival they managed to get 2 wins and 1 draw in their last 4 matches which is really good considering how things had been going for them.

Both teams are playing with much more confidence since the arrival of their new coaches but they are not happy with their place in the Portuguese League. Getting the 3 points here is crucial for both sides and I think we can have at least 3 goals on this match but if not we get the push with only 2.
