[Football- Netherlands 'Eredivisie'] 14.1/ 21:00 Willem II- Groningen
FC Groningen started of the season with the news that Arjen Robben would return to their club after retiring. Unfortunately we wont be able to see him playing today (due to injuries, I mean it's Robben) but we will see their captain return to play tonight. FC Groningen really missed him in their last match, where they gave away a 2-0 lead vs Utrecht. It was weird to see as Groningen were dominating up until HT, after which they fell back and conceded two goals.
I dont expect to see the same tonight as Groningen should have no problem keeping up the pressure against Willem II, a team that has been severely underperforming this year. Willem II has not won a game in their last 7 matches and are sitting on the 17th spot, compared to Groningen's 7th spot. Groningen have been working on their team for a while now and the results are starting to show; they're a good team for Eredivisie standards and I expect them to take the win here tonight.
