[Football- Champions League Qualifications] 14.7/ 20:00 Legia Warszawa- Bodø/Glimt

Legia Warszawa have consistently been the best team in Poland, and have been in the top-5 of the Polish league year after year. They are also a notoriously dangerous team at home, due to their infamously passionate fan base. In the first head to head of this fixture, Legia Warszawa won 3-2 away from home, and they could secure qualification here with just a draw. However, I don’t see them playing for a draw, because a single Bodø/Glimt goal would change the entire game, and instead I expect that they will go for the win here. Overall, Legia are a very good team, and they should be able to cruise through these qualifiers to the Champions League.

Bodø/Glimt are not a bad team by any means, they are particularly dangerous offensively. Legia Warszawa are simply the better team overall, and a much more accomplished one as well. Additionally, I believe that Bodø/Glimt are at an increased disadvantage due to the tight schedule they have as their domestic season is already going on. To add to that, Bodø/Glimt are suffering through some issues with absent players, particularly around their left-back position. With Fredrik Andre Bjorkan being injured and Morten Agnes Konradsen out due to the red card he picked up in the previous game against Legia Warszawa. These kinds of absences can be deadly to a team that’s already strung out due to their tight schedule of fixtures.

In my opinion Legia Warszawa are the better overall team, they have no concerns regarding their starting line-up, and they get to play at home against a slightly worse Bodø/Glimt who are already knee-deep in their domestic season. Hard to see Legia not coming out with a win in this one.
