Spezia were a good surprise last season specially because they tried to play offensive football against any team which is always good to see. Their coach made them play well when they didn't have a strong squad and he got transfered to Fiorentina. Their first half of the season was good but then they got some bad results ending up at 15th place. Even with some new transfers their main core is still the same and they started well this season winning 3-1 against Pordenone at Coppa Italia.
Cagliari had a pretty difficult season and they were always close to relegation but they got saved because they didn't lost 7 out of the last 8 matches of the season. They are favourites here but I don't see this being so easy against Spezia especially with Naingollan leaving to Antwerp and Ounas to Napoli. They also started the season in winning terms with a 3-1 win against Pisa at Coppa Italia.
Both teams have some quality on the attack but their defenses are fragile and that's mostly what made them finish at bottom places last season. Things haven't changed a lot for Spezia and I think we'll see them being once again one of the most "over" teams in the league as they were in 1st place last season on this market with 28 "Over 2.5 goals" matches out of 38.
