[Football- 'Nations League'] 7.10/ 20:45 Belgium-France

The second semi-final of the Nations League is between two of the most stacked teams in the world, Belgium and France. Belgium, whose squad is currently ranked as number 1 in the world is coming in strong. They're attacking with Lukaku, De Bruyne and Hazard, with the backline being secured by Alderweireld and Vertonghen. The squad is extremely well put together, the players are world-class and the results show it. The unfortunate elimination from the EC by Italy was quite possibly the only big hiccup the team had in the past few years. Extremely productive, the last time they didn't score a goal in one of their games was back in 2018. at the World Cup, when they played Portugal. Every game since then, 38 to be exact resulted in at least a goal for the Belgian side. On the other hand, there's France. A pretty well-rounded crew that came a long way in a couple of years. Just a couple of years ago, their attack was led by Olivier Giroud and Blaise Matuidi, and today, those places are taken over by such players as Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema and Griezmann. Mbappe has been a sensation for a couple of years now, showing incredible skills and joining some of the best players at the top. Benzema, a man who found himself after Ronaldo left Madrid, has been having a wonderful season. He's been scoring left, right and center, playing as if he was much, much younger than 33. After the squad scandal caused by him, having him back in the EC was a great feat, he scored 4 goals but the team was eliminated in an unfortunate game with Switzerland, where their goalkeeper, Sommer, was sensational. Antoine Griezmann has hit a bit of a hard time in his career. After coming to Barcelona and not really discovering himself there, he went back to Atletico, where he is currently playing on a loan. He played a couple of not-so-great games, but scored in the CL game against Milan, which might be a sign of good things to come. Not including a friendly versus Finland, where half of the team wasn't playing, the last time they were scoreless was in 2019. against Turkey, in a match which was headlined by afore mentioned Giroud and Matuidi (now plays in the MLS). The old talent was replaced by new, fresh faces and I'm sure this game will be one for the books. I'm expecting a creative game, lots of chances and overall good and enjoyable football as both teams are what we consider to be world-class. The odds are currently at -104 but I would even accept lower odds than this.
