For one, the last time these two faced in 2019, Bencic won in striaght sets 2-0, and she is clearly the better player here. Additionally, Anisimova started off this tournament barely winning in a tight three set battle against a qualifier -> she is both tired and did not show much promise considering she almost lost to someone she should have crushed.
Another thing is that Anisimova simply does not have that good of a serve, and Bencic will have the ability to put pressure on that serve while also using her above average serve to beat her. In fact, in Anisimova's first match of this tournament, she was broken 6 times in that one match alone.
Another reason why these odds are so much closer than they should be is because Anisimova has had a great start to this year starting out 6-0. However, Bencic has started out 3-1 against tougher competition, and by watching the form in the actual matches you can tell that Anisimova is not at her peak between her low rank and her struggling in the first round while Bencic is in great form.
